Until December 11; Bison Survival Story Robe by Adrian Stimson. Bison Survival Story Robe recalls the history of the bison as a story of both slaughter and survivance. Once numbering in the millions, bison herds were driven to the brink of extinction in the 19th century. Bison Story Robe shares this history in the form of a pictographic winter count drawing on the Blackfoot tradition of recording collective memory on hide. Learn more at theconfluence.ca.

Through the generosity of the David Ferguson Memorial Fund, Lake View United Church can offer an exciting and innovative children’s program that includes 30 minutes of music instruction provided by Forte Music Studio. A professionally trained instructor will inspire creativity through music education. About 20 minutes of crafts, dance, story or games, mirroring the theme of the day completes the program.
