Until December 6; Buffalo Treaty: Keystone to Wellness Exhibit. 2024 marked the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Buffalo Treaty, a framework for reconciliation that focuses on cooperation, restoration, and renewal. Until December 11; Bison Survival Story Robe by Adrian Stimson. Bison Survival Story Robe recalls the history of the bison as a story of both slaughter and survivance. Once numbering in the millions, bison herds were driven to the brink of extinction in the 19th century. Sundays until December 20; Faith through Music and Story. Through the generosity of the David Ferguson Memorial Fund, Lake View United Church can offer an exciting and innovative children’s program that includes 30 minutes of music instruction provided by Forte Music Studio. A professionally trained instructor will inspire creativity through music education. About 20 minutes of crafts, dance, story or games, mirroring the theme of the day completes the program.
