Fall Events Around Town

The leaves are beautiful and Calgary is having wonderfully warm weather, so it’s a great year to get out and experience fun Fall activities around the city!

There are tons of family-friendly autumn experiences around the city to take in (we’ll share more events later in the month that focus more directly on spooky Halloween fun!)

Pumpkin Days & Harvest Lights

Price: $17.95

Visit Calgary Farmyard and select your pumpkin for the Fall season.  Pumpkins are available for photo ops and for purchase every day, but larger displays will be set up on weekends.  Tickets must be purchased in advance due to attendance capacities.

On the weekend evenings experience Harvest Lights, where the corn maze will remain dark for visitors to complete using flashlights.

Come walk through the pumpkin patch at Cobb’s Corn Maze!  There will be princesses available for photo opportunities and plenty of pumpkins available for purchase. This experience is available Saturdays and Sundays for the month of October, as well as Thanksgiving Monday. Timed tickets are required.

Butterfield Acres Farms invites you to come stroll through the farmyard to find your perfect pumpkin.  Families can also take memorial photos with the photo-ops that have been created.  Other activities include visiting your favorite animals, pony rides, wagon rides, and warming up by a cracking fire pit.  Costumes are encouraged.  All tickets must be pre-purchased to ensure social distancing.

Join the Boo Crew at Calaway Park!  This experience is available Saturdays, Sundays, and Thanksgiving Monday.  Stroll through Hallotown in your favorite costumes, enjoy non-touch photo opportunities, and participate in the Hallotown scavenger hunt. Calaway Park is also hosting a photo contest for a chance at four 2021 one-day tickets!
