April 7 to 17, Easter at the Calgary Farmer’s Market, when you visit the market to do your Easter shopping, pick up a ballot at customer information. As you shop, get your ballot stamped at any of our participating vendors. When you collect stamps in all 5 categories, enter to win the Easter gift basket.
April 9 to 17, Easter at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops, visit Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations for a free photo with the Easter bunny. Your family can get a free 4-inch by 6-inch photo with the big bunny, plus have the option to purchase additional prints or digital images to share with family and friends.
April 9 to 24, April at Toys R Us, join your local Toys R US store for an exciting Disney Princess-themed egg hunt: it’s a must-attend royal event! PLUS: take home some magical princess goodies or enjoy Easter-themed arts and crafts and a Bunny Hop dance party. Contact your local store for details.
April 15, 11am to 5pm; Easter Fun at Marlborough Mall, the event will include a petting zoo, Easter bunny photos, an egg hunt and face painting.
April 15 to 18, Easter Teas at Heritage Park, the Easter bunny
comes to Heritage Park for Easter Teas at The Famous 5 Centre of Canadian
Woman, featuring a full menu of finger sandwiches, bakery treats, scones, fresh
brewed tea, and lemonade.
April 15 to April 18, 9am to 5pm; Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo: Easter
Eggstravaganza.
The renowned event is back with family-friendly fun designed to help you say
‘goodbye’ to winter and ‘hello’ to the warmer weather! Activities include a

April 16; 10am to 4pm, Airdrie Farmer’s Market Spring Fling, the Airdrie market is back for Easter weekend goodies and Mother’s Day ideas. Visit the Town and Country Centre for everything from pies, sausages, perogies to jewelry, clothing and handmade items.
April 16, Family Fun Easter Dance Party, a super fun and community inspired dance and gathering for the whole family at Yoga and Beyond in Kensington. Bring the kiddos around for some meditation, games and dance.
April 16, 11am to 4pm; Easter Pop-Up Market, there will be activities for the whole family at Frank Wills Memorial Hall in Cochrane. Shop amazing local vendors while the kids take part in an Easter Egg Hunt. You’ll find everything from aromatherapy products, handmade earrings, baked goods, to fresh coffee beans, and more.
April 16 to May 8; Butterfield Acres Barnyard Baby Days, get ready for good times with spring cuties (lambs, goats, bunnies, cows, piglets, chicks) and other fun experiences including lots of cute spring photo ops, the opportunity to see and bottle feed spring babies, and some heart-warming up-close moments with some favorite farm animals. April 16, 1pm to 4 pm; Easter Fest, celebrate the arrival of Spring at this Capitol Hill Community Association family friendly festival featuring music, juggling, a petting zoo and beer garden.
April 16, 1pm to 4pm; The West Side Easter Event, Let’s celebrate the Easter weekend by taking photos with the Easter bunny and eating chocolates at the same time at Co-op West Springs.
April 16 and 17, 9am to 2pm; Specialty Safari Brunch – Easter Sunday Brunch, enjoy a special Easter themed brunch including Easter décor, a specialty menu and desserts, and fun Easter crafts for the kids.
April 17, 10am to 4pm; Easter Egg Hunt at Mount Norquay, the Easter bunny will be making a very important stop at Mt Norquay in Banff this year and hiding thousands of chocolate treasures in the snow. Bring your friends and get in on this egg-cellent egg hunt.
April 17, Easter With Pavlo and The Civic Symphony, this special fundraiser concert brings international recording star Pavlo and his band to the stage of the Jack Singer to showcase a first-time collaboration between the Calgary Civic Symphony and a popular music recording star. April 17, 8:30am to 10:30am; Sensory Friendly Easter, Southcentre Mall and Autism Calgary invite local families to attend a sensory-friendly Easter event. Easter is an exciting time of year for children; however, it can offer challenges for those with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), sensory processing disorders or mobility needs. This inclusive gathering will allow children with special needs to visit a variety of Easter-themed stations featuring crafts and activities in a quiet, supportive environment before mall opening hours. The Easter bunny will also make an appearance for families to capture memorable family photos.
