Stampede Breakfasts
July 15, 8:15am to 10:30am; Chuckwagon Breakfasts, get your flapjacks and bacon hot off the griddles from the back of the authentic GMC Rangeland Derby Chuckwagons and Fluor Smokies at Fluor Rope Square. You might even get to meet one of the drivers. The event will also include entertainment and activities, a horse-drawn old-time rig, First Nations parade and square dancing.

Hungry Calgarians are invited to sign up to compete or simply to spectate at this fun weekend event. Until July 30; BADP – Dance Intensive, this free immersive three-week dance intensive will be held in Calgary and invite five guest dance instructors to lead workshops and intensives for 40 African, Caribbean and Black participants ranging from five years of age to adults over three weeks from July 11 to 30. The instructors will be traveling from Africa (South Africa), USA (Denver, Chicago and Washington), and Vancouver bringing their more than 20 years of experience in African diasporic dance forms. Until October 27; National Music Centre’s Jam Club, join the National Music Centre’s free after-school Jam Club program. Youth ages thirteen to nineteen are invited to jam, practice their skills, and explore their creative potential, all while making new friends, every Thursday at Studio Bell for free.
