January 19 to 21; FIS Freeski Halfpipe World Cup, the Snow Rodeo FIS Freeski Halfpipe World Cup is back for its fourth instalment. January 20 to 21; Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony, explore the distinctive sounds of this vibrant program conducted by Music Director Laureate Roberto Minczuk. Two paintings and a sculpture are brought to musical life in Donovan Seidle’s Vernissage, then Principal Clarinet Slavko Popovic takes the virtuosic spotlight in Copland’s jazzy Clarinet Concerto. January 21, 1pm to 4pm; Central Commons Park Winter Pop-Up, the University District has opened Central Commons Park. This three-acre park includes a skating rink, fire features and more.
