Remembrance Day
November 11; Free Public Skate Remembrance Day, free public skating at select city arenas from 1pm to 2:15pm. Bring your own skates and helmets to participate.
November 11, 10:30am; Remembrance Day Service at The Military Museums, the Military Museums will host its annual Remembrance Day service at 4520 Crowchild Trail SW both in person and online, streamed to their Facebook page starting at 10:20 am. Following the event, the museum will be open to the public from 12pm to 6pm, with admission by donation. Following the ceremony, the public is welcomed to lay a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument. Royal Canadian Legion, Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held at the
Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

November 11; Calgary Highlanders Remembrance Day Parade, the annual ceremony includes Calgary Highlanders Parade. The Calgary Highlanders will have a Military parade using 4 Street SW between 12 and 13 Avenue SW. It will be held at the Memorial Park area around the Cenotaph.

November 11; Battalion Park Ceremony, the Kings Own Calgary Regiment will be holding the Annual Battalion Park Remembrance Day Ceremony. The ceremony includes speeches and public addresses, along with wreath laying and a short ceremony in conjunction with military personnel.
Until November 11; Field of Crosses, at the Field of Crosses, in place from November 1 to 11 each year, you can honor those who have fallen for our country. Each of the 3,500-plus crosses erected on the north side of the Bow River – along Memorial Drive – is inscribed with the name, rank, regiment, and date of death of a Southern Alberta soldier killed in action.
